The meaning behind the image
Peace & healing
In Buddhist tradition, Medicine Buddha represents healing and restoration. Lapis-blue color and fine golden lines offer a visual reminder of calm and care.
AuricSutra
Hand-laid gold-toned filigree, mineral pigments, and the natural grain of a hardwood frame. Each material has its place in the finished artwork.
The Physician of the Soul. The Light of Restoration. Invoke the restorative power of the Medicine Buddha (Bhaisajyaguru), the supreme healer in the Buddhist tradition. Radiating a deep, lapis-lazuli blue, he represents the purification of body and mind and the eradication of the "three poisons"—attachment, hatred, and ignorance—that lie at the root of all suffering. This piece is a powerful conduit for those seeking health, longevity, and the inner strength to overcome obstacles.
As the most serene installment of The Sanctuary Series, this piece utilizes the vibrant depth of the Cloisonné medium to capture the essence of enlightened healing.
Before it comes home
To protect the high-clarity acrylic panel, please clean it gently using only a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as the surface can be scratched if handled roughly.
To preserve the integrity of the mineral pigments and the hardwood frame, keep your artwork away from excessive heat and high-humidity environments.
Each piece is meticulously handcrafted to order, which requires a preparation time of approximately 10 business days before shipping.
