A few things to know
Before you choose your piece.
What exactly is a wooden automaton?
An automaton is a moving sculpture. Its mechanism turns simple motion into a lifelike gesture: a swimming whale, fluttering wings, or a striding horse. Power and operation vary by design; each product page has the details.
Do I need to assemble it?
Assembly requirements vary. Some designs need a small finishing step; the Horse, for example, needs one screw to attach its tail. Check the product page for your chosen piece.
Are they silent? Can the music be switched off?
Sound varies by model; moving mechanisms may be audible. Musical versions play music that cannot be muted. Choose a non-musical version if you prefer a piece without music.
Can I personalise a gift?
Selected designs offer a brass engraved nameplate. Look for the personalisation option on the product page and enter your message before ordering.
What if my piece arrives damaged or faulty?
We provide a free replacement for defects or damage during transportation. We also offer 30-day returns; return shipping for non-quality returns is paid by the customer. Read our return policy for full details.
