Copper is very dense (about 8.9 tons per cubic meter). For practical handling and resource efficiency, most copper sculptures are cast hollow rather than solid. This does not affect their appearance or quality.
🕳 Small Opening at the Base
A small round opening may be present at the bottom. This is a normal feature of the lost-wax casting process, allowing air release during casting and removal of fine sand used in the mold. Occasionally, tiny grains may fall out over time.
